Incident Report 2010 - 2 Incident'2 Reported

 

14th March - Cromer team paged at 1257 after Yarmouth MRCC received a 999 call about Chemical drums washed up on Cromer West Beach. The immediate area was immediately closed off while details of the drums were passed to Yarmouth MRCC. The contents were confirmed as Phosphoric Acid. The area was kept sealed off until the Local Authority safely removed the Drums.

Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service were also in attendance.

 

 

11th January - Cromer, Sheringham, Mundesley and Happisburgh teams paged at 1952 to search for a male who was threatening to drive his vehicle over cliffs in the Mundesley area. All teams were tasked with searching all vehicle access points in the North Norfolk Sector. Search teams were stood down approx. 1 hour later, as the male was found at his home address.
